The Centre for Brain, Mind and Markets (Department of Finance) at the University of Melbourne is looking to an Associate Professor of Experimental Finance and/or Decision Neuroscience.
Qualifications
A PhD in finance, financial economics, economics, neuroscience, computer science or psychology. Appointments will be commensurate with the applicant’s publication record, teaching expertise and research leadership.

The Centre for Brain, Mind and Markets at the University of Melbourne is a newly established research centre focusing on inter-disciplinary research on decision-making (https://unimelb.edu.au/cbmm). The Centre is hosted by the Department of Finance, which has well established undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs, and accommodates a wide variety of research and teaching interests. The Department is very well resourced to support its many research and teaching activities and maintains strong links with the global academic finance community. Appointment Terms
Attractive appointment terms will be negotiated with successful applicants. Commencement is expected to be in September 2024.

If required, initial interviews will be conducted online by the selection panel. Successful candidates are likely to be invited to present their research to the Department starting in early December 2023.
