The Hong Kong Baptist University has procured a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) facility (model: MAGNETOM Prisma1) as a major research infrastructure or central research facility to promote individual and collaborative research on transdisciplinary neuroscience studies. The MRI center is equipped with a 3T Prisma scanner, MRI-compatible EGI sets, TMS, BIOPAC, Eyelink plus, and fNIRS.
One Research Scientist position is available immediately. The appointee will lead, design, and develop novel applications of MRI and related research facilities for advancing transdisciplinary research at HKBU. The appointee will be responsible for applying expertise and experimental skills to facilitate and conduct research studies including imaging optimisation, data analysis and modeling, experimental validation, quality assurance, overseeing the management and operation of the MRI, and collaborating with academic and industrial partners in various research projects and activities.
