Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) is a prestigious university in China renowned for its excellence in linguistics, cultural studies, and global and area studies. The School of Business and Management (SBM) was established in 1985 and offers a comprehensive range of programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD levels, including an accredited MBA program recognized by AMBA. The SBM department encompasses various disciplines, including finance, organizational studies/business administration, marketing, information systems, and public relations.
The Department of Marketing of School of Business and Management (SBM) is now open positions for Assistant professors that devote to do cutting edge research in quantitative marketing, consumer behavior and consumer neuroscience. The candidates expect to obtain a PhD from marketing, economics, computer science or related areas and show the potential to be proficient to apply the quantitative technique including, but not limit to, econometrics, machine learning (e.g., deep learning) or cognitive neuroscience to investigate individual (e.g., consumer) and social behavior.
The Department have the programs for all levels including undergraduate, master and PhD. The job will offer competitive salaries and generous packages to support research and relocation. Recruited faculty members specializing in decision neuroscience or related fields will also be affiliated with the neuroscience and AI-oriented lab at SISU. This lab provides behavioral, neuroscientific, and AI platforms for interdisciplinary research.
This neuroscientific platform is a key laboratory of the Ministry of Education of China. It is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a research-dedicated 3T Siemens MRI scanner, multiple EEG systems (e.g., hyperscanning), TMS, tDCS, eye tracking, and various electrophysiological toolkits. Additionally, we offer GPU clusters to facilitate large-scale computing tasks essential for data science and artificial intelligence research.
