The Center for Applied Research in Decision Making (CARD) at the Fox School of Business at Temple University is looking for a full-time research assistant. CARD investigates the neurobiological basis of human behavior, preference formation, and decision making. This position will offer the candidate a dynamic and interdisciplinary research experience, combining multimodal research techniques using fMRI, eye tracking, and biometrics (e.g., heart rate, skin conductance). Primary duties entail scheduling and overseeing data collection and analysis in different neurophysiological methodologies. Other responsibilities include preparation and submission of human subjects protocols and progress reports, data entry, and basic data analysis.
The candidate will also assist the Director in seeking funding opportunities and making presentations to potential clients. The candidate will also coordinate schedules for undergraduate research assistants at the center, observe compliance of work rules, and coordinate project schedules with graduate students and postdocs at the center. Perform other duties as assigned.
This position will offer the candidate a dynamic, in-depth research experience. This position is well-suited for motivated students graduating from undergraduate institutions and preparing to apply to graduate programs in psychology, neuroscience, management, or marketing.
